Sal Iodice a veteran of the Travel Industry. His career started in 1971 with Alitalia Airlines then he owned and operated his own Travel Agency in New York City till he switched to the Hotel Industry to join Americana Hotels a subsidary of American Airlines in New York City at the Americana City Squire, then to become Regional Sales Director for the West Coast for the Fiesta Americana Hoteles with properties in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta and Acapulco. In 1980 Sal moved to San Francisco to join Holiday Inn Corp. to head the sales efforts for the Civic Center property. Two years later, when everyone realized that his knowledge and acquaintances in the International Arena to be a potential for the expansion of the Holiday Inn Center Strip in Las Vegas, then the largest Holiday Inn in the world, he was transferred there to head the Sales & Marketing effort of this 1000 room property to then become Harrah's Hotel & Casino. In 1984 Sal was transferred back to San Francisco to the Holiday Inn Union Square where not only he directed the Sales & Marketing for this 400-room upper scale property but also worked hand-on-hand with the other four properties in the city to capitalize on a strong alliance in the different markets shared by the city and successfully achieved unprecedent goals thanks to the cooperation of the Director of Sales at each property. In 1986, Sal was promoted General Manager of the Holiday Inn Oakland Airport and in his first year as a Hotel Operator he had a successfull "Turnaround" and it was recognized by the company with an award for success and a promotion to the Holiday Inn Pleasanton, where he obtained a "Torch Bearer" award for excellence in service.
In 1991, with the sale of Holiday Inn Corp to Bass Corp., Sal decided to join the new company Promus Corp. and this time he joined forces with Embassy Suites and he was transferred to Orlando, Florida. Today, Sal Iodice enjoys practicing his Sales & Marketing skills in helping Parkview Hospitality Hotels to reach the desired goals and surpass them.
Sal is a native of Italy, is fluent in Italian and Spanish and graduated in Business Administration from Hunter College in New York City.
